Being a high schooler isn't always easy. Life is full of new experiences, new relationships, and questions and pressures that can feel too big to handle on your own. River Students is a place where students can ask the real questions, build genuine friendships, and discover their true identity in Christ.

We believe that when our students experience the love of the Father and become more like Christ by walking out their faith day to day, the lifegiving power of Holy Spirit flows through them and changes the world around them - enabling them as a Kingdom Family to transform culture and bring Heaven to Earth.

What to Expect

Our student gatherings are designed to be engaging, honest, and rooted in Scripture.

Students experience:

Everything we do is centered on connecting our high school students to our mission in relevant ways -

loving where it's messy, serving where it's needed, walking where others wouldn't, and transforming culture.

WEEKLY GATHERINGS

High School Gatherings

Wednesdays at 7:00 PM - the Eddy Life Group

At the Eddy, we explore practical discipleship - giving students tools, teaching, and real time practice that helps them grow deeper in their faith. Each week includes a time of teaching, group discussion, and putting into practice that night's topic. Before and after service, students will also have gym time to have fellowship, play some games, or connect further with their leaders.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and close at 8:30 PM.

Sundays at 7:00 PM - River Students Service

At our River Students service, you can expect a more traditional service experience. We have pre-service and post-service hang outs each week. Our service includes fun connection points (games, ice breakers, and beyond), a student-led worship experience, and teaching rooted in Scripture.

Doors open at 6 PM and close at 9 PM.

Our student ministry is led by a phenomenal team of kind, crazy, and caring leaders. With unique stories, backgrounds, and personalities, God has gifted River Students with diverse adults who are united in one purpose - to love and build up our students.

Each leader is trained, background-checked, and committed to creating an environment where every single student is seen, celebrated, and encouraged.

We believe students thrive when they are known, valued, and supported.

Supporting Parents

We believe parents play the primary role in shaping their student’s faith. River Students wants to support and reinforce what God is doing in your home.

We strive to do this by maintaining open communication with not only the students, but parents and families as well.

Whether it is receiving our regular parent communications, helping your child participate in events and serving, helping you find the right resources, or meeting up for a one-on-one with you or your family - we are here for you!
